How many rooms and suites?
Brosundet features 129 tastefully decorated rooms and suites across two buildings and the unique Molja Lighthouse suite. Opting for a buyout allows you to exclusively reserve a building for your private gathering, offering a more personalized and intimate setting for your event.
Number og guests for dinner?
The different venues can room a different number of guests. Our largest venue situated in the Devold Factory can seat 120 persons for dinner.
Are there any nearby churches?
There are several beautiful churches in Ålesund, the beautiful stone church Ålesund Church was built in a long church design and in the Art Nouveau style in 1909, located close to Brosundet.
Can I bring my own flowers and decorations?
We have a trusted team of decorators who love to dress to impress. Any event at Brosundet deserves to reflect the history and culture of the place, and that's why we recommend you to use our flowers binders and decorators.
Can you advice on hair and bridal make up?
We are happy to assist with hair and make-up for your wedding day. Based on your preferences we will find you the best talent to capture your visions.
Can you arrange for a Wedding Officiant?
We love hosting wedding ceremonies and are happy to assist with a Wedding Officiant. Norwegian rules and regulations say that the wedding couple themselves needs to reach out to a wedding officiant. We will help with direct contact with the Officiant of your choice.
Do you recommend a wedding planner?
Our expert team specializes in arranging weddings and will assist with personal service and a dedicated contact person. If you prefer a wedding planner we are happy to work directly with your trusted partner. Or recommend one....
What about transfers and logistics?
We offer luxury transfers with spectacular fjord cruises with the hotel boats, charming transfers with our cars, and comfortable private transfers to/from the airport. For the eagle eyes view you can arrive in style with the hotel helicopter.
Are all weddings buyouts?
To ensure maximum comfort and the luxury of making your wedding a personal experience, we only offer weddings as private buyouts. Then you will have the flexibility of using the whole property from check-in at 16.00 to check-out at 12.00. Need more time? We are happy to offer extended buyout options.
Do you offer menu and place cards design?
We will provide beautiful menus and place cards for your reception day. We believe you will be pleased as many choose to bring their menu back home as a memory of a very special event.
Can you advise on event photographer?
Captured memories on camera are important to secure all those magical moments. We are happy to recommend a trusted local photographer based on your wishes.
How long do you recommend to stay?
The fjords offer a vast amount of activities to capture the beauty of Fjordland. We always recommend staying 4-7 days to make sure you have enough time to explore our scenic destination. We are happy to offer extended buyout options or design a longer trip for a smaller group.
